When anyone reviews the architectural history of the Omaha Country Club, they often reference the book ?The Golf Course.? Turn the pages of an original copy and you learn that the site of this week?s U.S. Senior Open was a William Langford design. Topekan Ron Whitten wrote that passage. He later realized, however, that he mistakenly attributed work to Langford that should have been credited to another Golf course architect, Wayne Stiles.
